Job Description

The successful candidate should possess;
Ensure that the company operates in accordance with all current applicable legislation, rules and regulations
Ensure persons under the age of 18, self - excluded persons, persons on the UN Sanction list, and/or banned persons are prohibited on site.
Ensure that the company provides the highest possible levels of customer service
Ensure that the company operates in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and Internal Control Procedures
Ensure that the company operates according to the highest possible standards,
Ensure an understanding of the opening and closing procedures of the branch
Secure the premises prior to commencement of the clearance procedure and carry out clearance in line with Internal Control Procedures
Ensure compliance as regards to the FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) and the Company’s FICA Internal Rules
Assist the Branch Manager to ensure compliance with regards to Health and Safety
Ensure a thorough knowledge on company security and surveillance systems and have an overall responsibility for the security of the premises
Review daily reconciliations and reporting
Deal with customers in a professional manner and ensure that all customer complaints are noted and actioned
Ensure Management presence on the gaming floor and manage staff in a professional manner by conducting regular meetings
Ensure that company property and assets are well maintained including cleanliness and hygiene
Complete and file all required checklists and meet attendance requirements
Responsible for proper management of the overall branch operations including staff and such other functions required or prescribed by Management or the Internal Control Procedures
Responsible for the preparation, issue and control of floats and the issue and control of keys
Responsible for the reconciliation, safekeeping and banking of cash
Responsible for record keeping of overall cash of the branch and such other functions as required or prescribed by Management or the Internal Control Procedures
Ensure that accounting records are kept in accordance with gaming legislation
Train staff on various aspects of the business

Inherent Requirements

Grade 12
Valid Driver’s License
Excellent numeracy and computer Literacy skills
3 – 5 years Senior Management experience
