Night Receptionist


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check-in and check-out of guests

  • Maintain guest accounts and processing of guest transactions during their stay
  • Deal with any and all special needs or requests
  • Check Front Office accounting records for accuracy and daily summarizes and compile information for the Hotel’s financial records
  • Maintain a safe, clean and presentable reception area at all times
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Reporting: Complaints, emergencies, maintenance, security needs as well as summary of action taken
  • Ensure that all restaurant and banqueting areas are properly secured after close of business
  • Wakeup call requests are recorded and executed
  • Absorb the switchboard function
  • Ensure all daily room and outstanding charges are posted, all revenue total of cash and credits are balanced
  • Guest needs and requirements are anticipated and acted upon
  • Perform general administration duties as and when required


MIN REQUIREMENTS


  • Hospitality Management Qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Night work is required
