Our Client:

The group’s main asset is a controlling stake in the South African-based media group, They have a number of core assets in the television and radio broadcasting sector, with additional assets in the content, properties, and facilities sectors.

Purpose
The incumbent would be required to create multimedia assets (imagery and video) for use on the company
applications, social media platforms and paid marketing campaigns. They will also be required to assist in
the creation of presentations as required by the business.

Design
  • Day-to-day creation of multimedia assets (video & graphics) for use on their owned applications, social media accounts and paid marketing campaigns.
  • Managing multiple graphic/video/photographic/multimedia projects.
  • Meeting and liaising with various teams to discuss briefs, requirements and project progress
  • Making technical recommendations and ensuring compliance to technical specifications.
  • Ensuring all creative work is in line with creative direction set by Marketing department.
  • Performing regular quality assurance checks on creative work that is distributed on digital platforms.
  • Creating multimedia designs in liaison with various departments within the business.
  • Developing and using skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, In Design and After Effects.
  • Keeping up-to-date with technological and software developments
  • Creating multimedia assets for use in social media campaigns and paid media campaigns.
  • Creating multimedia assets for use on our digital platforms including eVOD, eNCA, Openview, eTV and group digital websites and applications.
  • Creating presentations as required
  • Implementing web and application mockups in coordination with technical teams
Qualifications
Essential
National Senior Certificate
Diploma in Graphic Design
Recommended
Bachelor's degree in Marketing
Experience
3-5 years in Digital Media Design
