Warehouse Generalist

 

Overview:

The Warehouse Generalist will be responsible to perform general housekeeping duties, assisting in other warehouse functions as well as taking product samples for testing.

Responsibilities:

• Taking product samples for various purposes.
• Assist with container loading.
• Assist with re-labelling products.
• Clean warehouse and production floor.
• Clean dedicated outside areas around building.
• Empty dust bins.
• Cleaning and hygiene care of skips storage area.
• Managing the skips and ensure area is clean.

Qualifications:

• Grade 10.
• Ability to understand processes and procedures.
• Understanding of warehouse standards and procedures.

• 
  Language Skills:

o Must have written and verbal communication skills.
o Must be able to express clearly in English.

• 
  Reasoning Ability:

o Ability to analyze and solve basic problems in area of responsibility.

• 
  Work Environment:

o Must be able to work in a team.
o Accuracy.
o Ability to multitask.
o Must able to mentally focus on reading 10-digit batch numbers.

• 
  Physical Demands:

o Employee must be able to stand and walk all day.
o Employee must be able to lift minimum of 25kg bags all day.
