We are looking for an A-class, highly driven performance marketing specialist to grow existing products and services.
The company is a hybrid role based in Johannesburg, South Africa and strong preference will be given to those based in Johannesburg, but we’re open to exceptional candidates from around South Africa. This role is full-time.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
As the performance marketing specialist, you will need a deep understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, including paid search, SEO, display advertising, social media, and more. You will need to be an expert in data analysis and understand how to use data to improve campaigns. In addition, you should be able to communicate effectively with other team members and have excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage acquisition campaigns across various channels including social, SEM, and display to drive revenue and increase ROI.
- Create and execute a strong performance marketing strategy & execution plan.
- Develop and manage digital prospecting and remarketing campaigns.
- Manage budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights and strategy using quantitative analysis.
- Effectively communicate complicated analyses by developing easy-to-use reporting or visualization dashboards (demand funnel, marketing planning and budgeting, marketing ROI, operational efficiency, campaign impact, awareness, events, and strategic KPIs).
- Optimise web conversions and conduct A/B conversion testing
- Understand new and relevant KPI metric requirements for performance management and optimization purposes.
- Conduct experiments in online and offline growth channels.
- Deliver quantifiable improvements in ROI, cost per conversion (CPA) and ROAS across all channels.
- Work closely with the management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results.
- Ensure successful planning, execution, and optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels.
- Identify and test new channels to continue to meet or exceed established critical metrics.

- Performance Marketing Experience. 3-5 years work experience in a quantitative marketing role managing strategy and execution on social, search, or other performance-oriented channels. In-platform execution experience setting up campaigns in Facebook ads manager, Google Ads, and Google AdWords. Deep understanding of data or data modelling and able to objectively identify insights for sharing with stakeholders. Exceptional analytical skills to identify opportunities within complex data and where these can be operationalized. Proven track record of building and scaling acquisition campaigns with a strong focus on ROI.
- Exceptional communication skills. You can communicate excellently across various platforms.
- Attitude. You are passionate about the problem we’re looking to solve. You have a positive attitude, open to change, you love rolling up your sleeves and getting things done quickly and with excellence.
- Self-driven, organised & disciplined- You do what you say you will do. You are organised, diligent and have high attention to detail. You stick to deadlines, you’re consistent and you work efficiently and autonomously.
